The Annual MS Walk and Fun Run 2017

Multiple sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system affecting more young adult Australians than any other neurological condition. No two cases of multiple sclerosis are identical and the severity and progression of the condition cannot be predicted. Symptoms vary from person to person, but can include: Fatigue, Pain and numbness, Pins and needles, Cognitive difficulties, Intolerance to heat, Loss of balance and coordination, Continence problems, Blurred vision, Tremors, In severe cases, paralysis.
While multiple sclerosis is a lifelong disease for which a cause and cure has not been found yet, doctors and scientists are making discoveries about the treatment and management of multiple sclerosis every day.

The MS Walk and Fun Run is an event for all athletic abilities. Those wanting to challenge themselves to reach a personal best in the MS Fun Run can do so with our professional chip timing system.

A timing chip will be attached to your event bib when you receive it in the post so when you arrive at the event there is no need to check in or collect your timing chip as you have done in the past. Your timing chip will activate automatically as you cross timing mats at the start and finish lines, recording the time you take to complete the course.

On Sunday 30th April 2017, join in on the fun, determination and wave of red coming together in Canberra and Sydney to walk and run in support of Australians living with multiple sclerosis. The MS Walk and Fun Run is organised by Multiple Sclerosis Limited (MS).
